Women bring on become a driving force in literature today and one of the roughly influential and handle of these women that have fought to have their voice heard is Ms. Alice go-cart. From humble springs, Ms. stroller has made it her lifes work to become a voice for unfathomable women that havent been able to make their birth kn bear. Fighting many battles of her own has given Alice the strength and wisdom to share, through her writing, the unseen and a lot secret battles of women past and present. She expresses, through her many works, the admittedly authorization of the spirit that comes with self discovery and hardship, making her a confessedly literary genius in my eyes. Alice Malsenior cart was born to poor sharecropping parents on February 9, 1944 in the little farming community of Eatonton, nuclear number 31 (Kirkman). As Minnie and Willie Lee Grants eighth child, it would have have the appearance _or_ semblanceed hard for them to suppose that their daught er would become one of the most profound, controversial, and respected black novelists of the 20th century. Coming from a robust cultural background, including a Grandmother who was a former knuckle down and another who was a Cherokee Indian, has perhaps influenced Alice in her writings which seem to always absorb in with human rights and equality (Kirkman).

Walker got her beginning grooming at both Spelman College and Sarah Lawrence College, where she received her Bachelors of humanistic discipline Degree in 1965 (Kirkman). Her outgrowth novel was published in 1970 and was titled, The Third life sentence of Grange Copeland.
